FAQ

We are currently located in Omaha, Nebraska but we do not have a storefront you can visit. While this may be a possibility in the future, it is not in our plans at this time either. We are a small, family owned and operated business and our family likes to ride motorcycles. "Normal business hours" are far from the norm for the staff here at The Company Designs.

We do set up a booth at bike shows, rallies, and swap meets. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for information about upcoming events.

Many of our products are in stock at our location at all times. With that being said, many of our products are customized in some way which is done mostly here in house which can add a short amount of time for your order to be completed.

Most of our orders are picked and shipped immediately. Once these orders get dropped into the system they can't be changed or canceled. Even if you haven't received a tracking number yet your item could already have been shipped. There are times where tracking numbers aren't readily available as well. If the item has been shipped you'll need to open a return request once it arrives to you.

Due to recent changes, states now have the ability to mandate sales tax for online purchases. Each state has different laws and thresholds on sales tax collection and we must follow those laws to stay compliant. Often times, sales tax is already computed along with shipping so the total you see is the cost of the products and the cost of tax and shipping rather than broken down.

It is possible that you ordered or mistakenly received the incorrect part due to your bike being equipped with a mechanical (cable) clutch but the set of hand guards that you received is for a hydraulic clutch. While we do accept returns for items in stock, we do not accept returns for customized items or items ordered for the incorrect application. With most of our hand guards being customized, it is important for you to know and order the correct application.

Some Dyna models,  whether stock or having altered front turn signals, have a small bump where the hand guards mount. You can still mount the hand guards over the bump by simply tightening the mounting hardware already on your bike or, you can mark the location of the bump to drill a small hole to allow room for the bump to sink into the hand guards.

You can return items that have not been mounted or installed, nor showing any signs of damage, mounting, or use, for a refund excluding shipping and a 15% restocking fee within 30 days of purchase. If the item is defective or there is a problem with workmanship and returned within 30 days, our returns department will issue a full refund upon receipt and inspection of the item. Returned items that show any scratching, dents or other signs of damage or misuse, or is missing the original packaging, are not accepted.

Customized products are not returnable.

Items purchased for the incorrect application are not returnable.

If you would like to return an item please send us an email with all of your purchase information including date, product, contact and mailing information, your receipt or order number, and the reason for your return. We will work with you to determine the reason and eligibility for your return.

We want to help but, with the volume of requests and the limits on staffing and us not being unable to see your motorcycle, we do not answer most emails from those not knowing which type of clutch their bike has. Please, spend a little time keeping yourself informed on what you own so you can enjoy your two wheeled freedom machine as much as possible.

With so many custom applications to keep in mind, here is a general rule of thumb for models that came with a hydraulic clutch.
